Morteza Momayez (1936–2005) is undoubtedly Iran’s founder of modern graphic design and illustration. In addition to creating immortal works of graphic design, such as great posters, gorgeous logos and logotypes, and book covers, he also bequeathed brilliant illustrations that are rare and matchless on their own account, and whose effects on his generation and other generations to come are beyond doubt.
