So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuring select options
For custom field types, select a list, checkboxes, radio buttons, and their multi-versions. You need to configure their select options before they can become useful to users. Select options are configured and set on a per-custom-field-context basis. This provides the custom field with the flexibility of having different select options for different projects.
To configure select options, you need to first select the custom field and then the context that the options will be applied to, as follows:
- Browse to the Custom fields page.
- Click on the Configure option for the custom field you wish to configure the select options for.
- Click on the Edit Options link for the custom field context you wish to apply the options. ...
