When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Setting up workflows
The first step is to create a new workflow for our Termination issue type, since we still want to keep the existing workflow for the Task issue type. The easiest way to get started is to clone the current workflow to save us some time:
- Browse to the View Workflows page
- Click on the Copy link for the HR: Task Management Workflow workflow
- Name the new workflow HR: Termination Workflow
- Click on the Copy button to create our workflow
The next step is to add in the extra status we need. Make sure that you are in the workflow designer by selecting the Diagram option:
- Click on the Add status button.
- Enter the name for our new status as In Exit Review, set the Category to In Progress, and click on Add. You will need to hit ...
