I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing a Ceph cluster
The following diagram is a basic representation of Proxmox and a Ceph cluster. Note that both the clusters are on separate subnets on separate switches:
A Ceph cluster should be set up with a separate subnet on a separate switch to keep it isolated from the Proxmox public subnet and for optimal Ceph cluster functioning. The Ceph Sync LAN is used by Ceph primarily to sync data between OSDs.
