The Proxmox node can be updated right from the GUI through the Updates tab. Each node checks daily for any available updates and alerts the administrator through an email if there are any new updates. It is important to keep all the nodes up to date by updating regularly. The Updates menu enables upgrading by just using a few mouse clicks. The following screenshot shows the node's Updates menu with some pending upgrades available for one of the nodes in our example cluster:
