Configuring VMs with hotplug
For CPU and memory hotplug, we also have to make sure that the NUMA option is enabled for the VM. The NUMA option can be found under the Datacenter | Node | VM | Hardware | Processors menu. Click on Edit to open the CPU dialog box:
There is no additional configuration necessary to hotplug a virtual disk image or virtual network interface.
