About Screen Capture with WME

The screen capture codec captures mouse movements, mouse clicks, the opening and closing of application windows, data entry, data deletion—basically, anything that's happening on the screen when you're capturing. The file produced is a video file, which when played back, shows actions very similar to the original onscreen actions.

During setup, you designate whether WME captures activity within the entire screen, a specified region in the screen, or a designated window. You'll produce the most-compact, highest-quality file when you capture small regions of your screen and minimize the amount of motion involved.
