I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 2. Creating Watchable Video
A video editor is like a hammer. Knowing how to hammer nails, straight and true, is a noble skill, but it doesn't guarantee you can build a sturdy house. Similarly, knowing how to capture your video and add transitions and titles and perhaps a special effect or two doesn't guarantee your video is watchable—that family and friends will be interesting in watching it for more than two or three minutes without squirming in their chairs.
