When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Saving to CD
While DVD recorders are still a bit rare, most computers have CD recorders that can burn up to 700 MB of data on one disc, or about 55 minutes of video if you use Movie Maker's default setting. This Movie Maker option burns your output file directly to a recordable CD.
All Windows-based computers with a CD or DVD drive should be able to play the video, as well as any consumer electronics device that supports the HighMAT format. At the time of this writing, however, only one company—Panasonic—is producing devices that actually support the HighMAT spec (for more information, see www.highmat.com/wheretogetit/).
Note that discs produced by Movie Maker will not play on most stand-alone DVD players. To produce discs that play on these ...
