Adding Motion to Still Images
Slide shows are a big part of most of my productions, and the birthday video will include two: one containing pictures taken at the party, and one containing pictures from the entire previous year. I like going whole hog with my slide shows, which means background music, interslide transitions, and motion effects that help maintain the viewer's interest.
Movie Maker includes two effects, Ease In and Ease Out, that can add motion to still images. If you're seriously into slide shows, however, you should supplement these with Pixelan's Pan/Zoom effects pack, which adds 63 pan and zoom effects.
