Installing Movie Maker is a big deal, primarily because it will likely consume many more resources in disk space, processing power, and RAM than any other program you're currently running. If there are any weaknesses in your computer, like old drivers, fragmented disks, or outdated operating system service packs, pushing the computer to the limit of performance, as Movie Maker will do, typically brings them to the fore.
