Movie Maker's text customization options are numerous but probably familiar to most readers who have used a word processor or presentation program. However, using text in a video production involves several additional considerations.

First, what's readable at full video resolution may not be readable after you've scaled the video down to its final output resolution. In addition, the lossy aspect of compression can degrade the clarity of the entire image, making the text harder to read, especially if you're producing for distribution at modem rates.
