Summary

Content management is the process of adding, deleting, modifying, and performing various other activities on things that you want available in your portal, but that do not necessarily fit into a traditional programming paradigm like a form, chart, or report. These things might consist of Microsoft Word documents, Adobe PDF files, images, movies, sound files—the list goes on and on. Virtually anything that can be converted into a file that can be stored on a computer can be used as content.
