Defining a Landing Page

By default, the OracleAS Portal Builder page is defined as the page users are redirected to after they log in to OracleAS Portal. This page is referred to as the landing page, because it is where users "land" after they log in. For developers or page designers, landing on the default builder page is perfectly acceptable. For end users, however, it is much more desirable to have them land on a page not related to portlet development or page design.

To change the landing page for a user, perform the following steps:

1. Log in to OracleAS Portal as a user with administration privileges.

2. Click the Builder link on the top-right of the screen if you are not already in the OracleAS Portal Builder.

3. Click the Administer tab ...
