governance model
This chapter develops a project governance model derived from the prin-
ciples developed in the previous chapter. The four principles of effective
project governance make it clear that there is a need to differentiate
between stakeholder management and project decision making. This
therefore requires a determination of the key project stakeholders needed
to form the primary decision-making body. Other stakeholders less central
to the project must still have a platform for addressing their issues and
concerns but this need not be within the decision-making body.
