8.3.1 Separating production from development
In addition to your main production environment, you might have a development
or test environment that is subject to frequent reconfiguration and rebooting, or
might be subject to a higher risk of failure due to less rigorous change controls.
You need to isolate this from your production systems, but test systems also
need occasional access to data that is stored on the production disk systems.
Figure 8-3 shows how you can achieve this fabric isolation by using a VSAN.
