17.1 Installing the router
In this section, we demonstrate how to install an IBM TotalStorage SAN04M-R
multiprotocol SAN router, including setting the management TCP/IP address. It is
assumed that the router has already been unpacked from its box and installed in
a rack (or on a table), and is ready to be connected to the power source and to
the management network.
17.1.1 Connecting the power
To power up the router:
1.Connect a power cord to the router and to a live power outlet. At this point, the
