14.4.3 Isolation of multivendor switches and modes
You can have Fibre Channel switches from multiple vendors that each require
different mode settings and behave slightly differently in the network. You might
want to incorporate them into your network, but keep them isolated either for
departmental reasons or to keep the different modes of operation separate from
