If we cannot use jumbo frames, each large Fibre Channel frame needs to be
divided into two Ethernet packets. This doubles the amount of TCP, IP, and
Ethernet MAC usage for the data transfer.
Normally, each Fibre Channel operation transfers data in only one direction. The
frames going in the other direction are close to the minimum size.
