I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Different options for quick calculations
There are 11 options in total to create quick table calculations:
- Running Total progressively sums the aggregated marks within the partition and along a direction (across or down).
- Difference is the absolute difference between the mark and a reference mark: (Mark - Reference).
- Percent Difference states the relative difference: (Mark - Reference) / Reference.
- Percent of Total shows the contribution of the current mark to the total aggregation of marks within the scope.
Percent of Total calculations can also be turned on via Analysis | Percentage Of | ..., although this will affect all measures.
