Editing locations
To edit locations, either click on the right-hand corner on the x Unknowns value and it will open the Edit Locations window, or go to Maps | Edit Locations.
Click on Country/Region. This will show how the country or region is getting detected. Many times, this field is set to fixed for a particular country. So, if you are in the UK, your map could be set at the fixed field for the United Kingdom. Now, if you had a dataset with states from the USA, it would not match any location. To fix it, you would need to edit the location and set either the fixed field to be the United States, or if your dataset contains a Country field, then set it to be matched from that field.
