Assume you are looking at data at the country level and focusing on Europe as a continent. Instead of looking at each country individually, you want to look at the data in two sections, Eastern Europe and Western Europe. To achieve this, look at the locations on the map, and use the selection tool to select the territories. Once you have them selected, click on the grouping icon, as shown in the following screenshot:

Selecting the groups will create a combined group for these locations. It will also add a Country & State grouping to the marks shelf. All of your selected locations are now grouped and will be colored the ...
