I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Functions syntax
There are many types of functions available in Tableau, such as Number, String, Date, and User. Different functions have different syntax and require different inputs for them to work. The list of all of the functions available to you in Tableau is available in the side tab of the calculated field window. Select AVG() from the functions list. Once you select any function, you will see three elements in the help window:
