So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Calculated fields
In the preceding example, we created a calculated field—a field that was not in our original data source. To create a calculated field, either click the down-caret in the Data pane or right-click anywhere in the Data pane and select Create a calculated field from the menu. If we want to compute the profit margin, we can do so with a calculated field. The profit margin is the sum of profits divided by the sum of sales refer to the following screenshot for the calculation:
