I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Parameters
Parameters are dynamic values that a user can change. These values are used in calculations so that the results are dependent upon the user's input. Parameters are an extremely powerful tool that allows values in calculations to be set dynamically. To create a parameter, either click the down-caret in the Data pane or right-click anywhere in the Data pane and select Create Parameter from the menu. The following screenshot illustrates this process:
