I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Custom
In addition to the Summarize and Model objects provided in the preceding sections, Tableau offers Custom objects:
- Reference Line: This is the line whose value is a constant or calculated value of a specified field.
- Reference Band: This is a shaded band whose value is the distance between two constants or calculated values of a specified field.
- Distribution Band: This is a shaded band whose value is a distribution of values of a specified field.
- Box Plot: This adds a box plot to the view.
