Some people prefer to create their table in Datasheet view. However, Access designed Datasheet view for data entry and viewing, not for table structure changes. I do not recommend creating the table this way, since you do not have access to as many controls as you do with Table Design view.
To create a table in Datasheet view, follow these steps:
Select Insert, Table.
Click Datasheet View and click OK. A blank table opens, as shown in Figure 8.5.
