Awesome! Red Bull Stratos was a scientific mission to skydive back to earth from the edge of space. History was made on 14 October 2012 when Felix Baumgartner jumped from the stratospheric balloon at 128,100 feet, smashing the record for the highest ever free-fall and first ever to go faster than the speed of sound. The mission brought together the world’s leading minds in aerospace medicine, engineering, pressure suit development, capsule creation and balloon fabrication.
