8 END OF THE WORKDAY – DE-STRESS

Take the time to let go of the workday. Take at least 10 minutes to review the day. What did you accomplish, what is left over, what needs to be scheduled for the next day? This is a great way to finish the day and let go. You want to feel clear about what you accomplished, what is still left over and what will be done the next day. Use a de-stress technique (see Chapter 3) if you feel overwhelmed and there is a lot going on.

Acknowledge your accomplishments

Take a couple of minutes to acknowledge what you have accomplished during the day, even if it’s not much. It’s important to acknowledge yourself for making it through the day. If you are very target driven sometimes it is easy to look at what’s next and forget ...
