TASKS
There are some things you want to do which are not time-critical. To save space and time in your calendar, you can designate these non-time-critical items as tasks.
Keep tasks on simple lists and review periodically to either do or schedule. The only rule for tasks is that they cannot be time-critical; if an item is sitting on a task list and hasn’t been done, there should be no consequence to it not getting done. If there are consequences, then schedule the task in your calendar. You can distinguish a task from a critical item by determining the consequence of it not getting done.
