61. A NEW YORK SUNSET

THIS PICTURE OF New York City is a little blown out, so we’re going to make some adjustments in Adobe Camera Raw, and use some masking to add a little bit more contrast in the sky (Figure 61.1).

1. 1 We’re starting with a RAW image, so the file will open in Camera Raw. The first thing we’ll do here is drop the exposure a little bit, and then reduce the highlights so that we can see the sky better (Figure 61.2).
