10. INTERFACE AND PERFORMANCE CHANGES

AS YOU START working with different projects, you may want to configure Photoshop in a specific way so that it works for you and what you’re doing. To do so, start by going to Photoshop > Preferences > General. If you’re using a PC, open the Edit menu and select Preferences from the bottom of the list.

In the General section of the Preferences dialog box, you can decide whether or not you want to see specific workspaces when you create or open up a file (Figure 10.1).
