WHAT IS ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE?
Enterprise architecture has existed for as long as people have worked together. It has existed since we realised as a civilisation that we needed to organise. Understanding the combination of people, process, data and technology, and how we want to change it, is a simple way to look at enterprise architecture, and that combination is as applicable to early civilisations as it is today.
But we didn’t have a specific name for it until the 1980s.
