I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This section recognises that to be successful you have to also learn how to survive the tough periods and come out stronger. Imagine you are sat with a group of experienced enterprise architects sharing advice from their own experiences. That’s how this ‘Surviving’ section came about, a collection of insights from ourselves and many conversations with seasoned professionals.
The real-world practice of enterprise architecture can be frustrating and messy. You will encounter different ‘right ways’ and new trends emerging all the time. The key is to find what works for you and your organisation, and not get caught up in chasing the latest fads or striving for an elusive ‘best practice’.
