So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Risk, like debt, only becomes a problem when you can no longer afford the consequences. One of our key methods to handle risk is good governance.
Most people will exaggerate the spectacular but rare risks and downplay the everyday risks. We have trouble estimating the impact and probability of risks for anything outside our normal experience. Risks that impact us personally are seen as being more important than those with generic impact.
