Always surpass expectations.

The first time I traveled through Singapore’s Changi Airport, I thought to myself that whoever designed this would make an amazing user experience designer. The airport is a destination in itself, with waterfalls and gardens, open-air decks, and a variety of amazing restaurants. There’s even a swimming pool. It was the first time in my life where I had a conscious feeling of “whoa, that’s cool” at an airport. I was sad to board my plane.

The worst airport I’ve ever had the misfortune to travel through is LaGuardia Airport in New York City. The low ceilings, narrow corridors, drab and stained carpets, and lack of proper dining options make for such a terrible travel experience that I already start to feel depressed ...
