Brainstorm efficiently.

Before the term “brainstorming” was recontextualized by advertising executive Alex Osborn in his 1948 book Your Creative Power, brainstorming meant you were having a sudden mental disturbance. That’s why they almost called the method “thought-showering.” They didn’t, obviously, because I guess they realized that “let’s go into the meeting room and thought shower” sounded more like you were cleansing your dirty thoughts and less like a method that allows teams to come up with many ideas in a short amount of time.
