Visualize the relationship between pages.

All websites and apps are structured like Russian nesting dolls. As an example, let’s take a marketplace-type website where you are trying to find headphones. The biggest doll, the doll that contains all other dolls, is the parent (homepage). When you open up the main doll, there’s another doll inside (electronics), the child of the homepage. But inside that doll, there’s another doll (headphones). And inside that doll, there is one final doll that can’t be opened up and doesn’t contain any other dolls (the actual headphones you were looking for).
