Chapter 8Activities to Decide What to Do

You’re almost at the end of your retrospective, but not quite. The team needs to decide what to do.

In the Generate Insights phase, the team examined the issue and started to develop their ideas on how to address the situation.

The Decide What to Do phase moves the team’s focus to the next time period. Usually, the team decides on some sort of action or experiment. They may also choose a learning goal, a plan to influence someone (to address an issue outside their control), or simply realize that they need to change their own response.
