When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Public IPv4 and IPv6 traffic patterns
Since we are connecting on layer 3, we will be using the IP protocol to connect as it is the de facto protocol of the internet. As we all know, IP comes in v4 and v6 variants. With IPv4, there is a clear distinction between private and public networks – private ranges sit in predefined private IP ranges, whereas with IPv6, there really is no such concept as all of the addressing being assigned in IPv6 belong to a global unicast scope (with the exception of fc00::/7, reserved for ULA, and fe80::/10, reserved for auto-configuration, which are special-purpose addresses but still belong to the global scope).
