I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 2 – Networking with the Virtual Private Cloud
- Choose from the following: the network, subnets, routes, internet gateway, NAT gateway, egress only gateway, ENI, VPC Endpoint, VPC Peering connection, NACLs, and security groups.
- Routing is performed via the NAT gateway or an instance in IPv4, whereas an egress-only gateway is used in IPv6.
- A VPC cider cannot be changed once created. CIDR sizes should accommodate current and future application needs.
- IPv4 uses 1:1 NAT between Public or Elastic IPs and the subnet IPs, whereas IPv6 addresses are reachable directly.
- A gateway uses routing to route traffic to a private network from the AWS service, while the interface endpoint connects directly into the VPC with a VPC private IP attached ...
