So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Controlling traffic to and from EC2 instances
We can control access to and from each EC2 instance with security groups. Security groups provide us with a basic definition of what kind of traffic will be allowed on which ports from the network. Beyond the network, we can further control the traffic through NACLs and other security features that we will discuss further in this chapter.
