When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Application Load Balancer (ALB)
The ALB is the first part of the next generation of the ELB service. It provides many of the advanced features that are required by modern applications to deliver more flexibility when routing traffic based on layer 7 requests. The ALB features full layer 7 traffic shaping capabilities, as well as the layer 7 features found in the CLB. Its main power lies in the ability to target multiple backends that can respond to different types of requests, with different types of content. The ALB can distinguish and determine the destination based on the following:
- The browser or initiator type: It can send desktop browsers to the default page, mobile clients to mobile pages, and API calls to the API
