When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Protection against DoS attacks
To protect the ELB service even further, we can introduce a WAF sandwich between two ELBs. When using the application load balancer, we also have the ability to augment the security of the ALB directly with a WAF integration option that has been supported since December 2016. The WAF will allow the service to catch any malicious traffic and throttle it at the perimeter, thus allowing our application to be protected from attackers and basic DoS attacks.
To increase security even further, we can use the AWS Shield or AWS Shield Advanced services to deliver full DDoS protection and mitigation to our application. When using Shield, all we are required to do is select the ELB service as the target for the Shield ...
