I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 10 – Network Automation with CloudFormation
- Stack.
- JSON and YAML.
- With the DependsOn attribute.
- Just execute the changeset on the existing stack. This will deploy the changes.
- Look for any EC2 instances or other services using the subnet. Until the subnet is empty, you will not be able to delete it.
- Hard code any defined values. Always use references and map any specific resources to regions with mappings.
- CloudFormation can help you test and ensure that your configuration is PCI compliant before deploying to production.
