I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Working with VPN
The Amazon VPN gateway is a managed service solution available from AWS that can be a very cost-effective way to connect our on-premises environment with an AWS VPC. The virtual private gateway is a logical network device that allows us to establish an IPSec VPN tunnel from our VPC to our on-premises environment. We have the ability to connect each and every subnet from our VPC to the VPN connection.
For each VPN connection, two public tunnel endpoints are created to enable automatic failover from your gateway device, as demonstrated in the following diagram:
