When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Route 53 issues
Route 53 is the only service that has an SLA defining 100% availability. Any issues in DNS resolution will be up to the content of the zone file and the configuration of the records. Here are some example issues and how to fix them:
- The record is not resolving: Check the entry in the zone file. Is the record correctly spelled? Is the record the correct type?
- Routing issues – not failing over, weight of responses not correct: Check that the backend to failover is healthy. Also check your weights are configured correctly.
- TXT record has not changed since update: Check the TTL. You can lower the TTLs down to 1 second if required.
