Weighted routing
When the replication between multiple sites is multi-directional but the capacities of the sites differ, then weighted routing can be used. Weighted routing allows us to scale the amount of traffic depending on the capabilities of the endpoint, by specifying the weight of each endpoint. The weight is an integer between 1 and 255 that can determine what percentage of traffic will be sent to the endpoint. When two endpoints have a weight of 10, then 50% of the traffic will be sent to each endpoint.
If we add another endpoint with the weight of 20, then 50% of the traffic will go to this new endpoint while the other two endpoints will be receiving 25% of the traffic each. The traffic volume is based on the DNS queries, so we ...
