When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
IPv6
As IPv6 is a protocol based on global unicast addressing, the network is only private when it is not connected to the internet. This means that as soon as we connect a gateway to the IPv6 subnet, all the addresses in the network will gain access to the internet and become accessible from the internet. No concept of NAT exists in IPv6 networks, so instead of the networks being inherently private, they are inherently public. To retain privacy on an IPv6 network, but still have the ability to connect to the internet, we would need to configure the gateway in a way that blocks the incoming traffic to the subnet it serves. This is exactly how the egress-only gateway in a VPC operates to maintain private IPv6 networks.
