It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
An Approach to the Real-Time Visibility of Product Movement on Supply Chains
Products, either individual or assembled along with their appropriate information, travel through a supply chain. An SCM system is mainly an application managing and controlling the movement aimed at maximizing the profits and satisfaction for all the participants throughout the chain. A mechanism to locate the moving products and have their proper information updated promptly is fundamental to enable the real-time visibility of product movement on a supply chain.
